KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has released its commitment letter for the upcoming elections on Nov 20.

Chairperson Rajendra Lingden announced the manifesto at a function held at Kathmandu’s Thapagaon Baneshwor Banquet.

Reciting the main points of the manifesto, he mentioned that he would be strict against corruption.

The RPP has promised to look into the assets of leaders who have come to power since 2046.

A high-level citizen commission will reportedly be formed for this purpose. ‘To investigate the assets of high-ranking leaders and officials after 2046 and make legal arrangements for the confiscation of illegal assets,’ according to the RPP, and ‘to implement a corruption-free, accountable, and transparent governance system.’
