Australia doubles parent & skilled worker visas
These two visas have been increased by reducing some of the limited number of visas allocated to Australia each year.

KATHMANDU: Australia has increased the number of skilled worker and parent visas by doubling
As of the labor shortage caused by the COVID-19 infection, the number of visas has been increased.
The number of skilled worker visas has been increased from 79,000 to 142,000 in the next fiscal year 2022/2023, according to information published by the Ministry of Home Affairs, while parent visas have also been increased from 4,500 to 8,500. The announcement was made by Treasurer Jim Chalmers during the budget announcement.
Under public programs, approximately 600 million dollars have been allocated in the budget to make Australia’s immigration sector more efficient over the next four years.
