KATHMANDU: The top four officials of the five-party coalition in power have urged voters to support the alliance.

In a press release they sent on Friday, they urged people to support the candidates of the parties that make up the ruling coalition so that they may be elected to the House of Representatives and the State Assembly on Nov 20.

The list of candidates chosen by the alliance was revealed on Friday, according to the four top officials.

Additionally, they said that in some places, a friendly competition was used to choose the candidates. People stated that if they treat one another fairly and civilly, they have decided to vote.

Sher Bahadur Deuba, the president of the Nepali Congress, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Madhav Kumar Nepal, and Chitra Bahadur KC, the chairperson of the Rastriya Janamorcha Party of Nepal, all signed the declaration.

The ruling coalition had earlier on October 1 requested their vote, claiming that the retreat was still happening. Janamorcha, however, did not sign the aforementioned appeal at that time.

They have also made an effort to mislead the irate employees by claiming that they are dedicated to using dialogue to resolve the conflicts.
