In Pics: Oli’s Bhai Tika

KATHMANDU: KP Sharma Oli put tika from his sisters. In his own residence, CPN-UML Chairperson Oli received a tika from his sister.

Bishnu Maya Dhakal, Kaushila Koirala, and Bishnu Oli presented tika to Chairperson Oli at the Bhaktapur residence in Balkot.

With respect, faith, and loyalty, they (sisters) wish their brothers long life, health, and prosperity, and Bhai Tika is celebrated by wearing pancharangi or saptarangi tika (seven-coloured).

Oli put Tika to his sisters after they introduced Tika to Oli.

It is customary for brothers to put tika on their sisters after sisters put tika on their brothers in Bhai Tika.
