KATHMANDU: Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Speaker of the National Assembly, and Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons, have met in the UK.

The Nepali Embassy in London stated that they exchanged views on various issues of the historical relationship between Nepal and the United Kingdom, particularly the visit and exchange of experiences between the two countries parliamentarians, and Gorkha-related issues, at the meeting held at the British Parliament building on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Nepal to the United Kingdom, Gyan Chandra Acharya, a member of the Inclusion Commission, Pushparaj Timilsina, and Mrs. Roshan Khanal, Deputy Head of the Embassy.

Similarly, Timilsina attended a luncheon hosted by MP Birendra Sharma, chairperson of the UK-Nepal friendship group in the British Parliament, in honor of Chairperson Timilsina on Monday.
