Army’s Jayarani won 5 golds

POKHARA: Jayarani Tharu of the Tribhuvan Army won five gold medals in athletics events at the 9th National Games.

She has two gold medals in team events and three gold medals in singles.

Jayarani’s team took first place in the 400m women’s huddles, 100m women’s huddles, women’s long jump single, 400m relay race, and 1600m relay race.

Jayarani set new national records in 400m hurdles, 100m hurdles and long jump.
