KATHMANDU: Three ministers from the Nepali Congress and the Madhesh coalition government have been expelled. On Friday, Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut expelled them.
Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Ram Saroj Yadav, Water and Power Development Minister Om Prakash Sharma, and Women, Children, Youth, and Sports Minister Birendra Prasad Singh will be expelled.
They were reportedly appointed ministers on 26 Jestha 2078 (9 June 2021), but were fired after the Chief Minister asked them to resign.
Following the dismissal of the Janata Samajwadi Party minister in the federal government by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Congress minister was also dismissed by the Chief Minister of the JSP-led Madhesh government.
