KATHMANDU: The stock market fell by double digits on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

The NEPSE index fell 16.06 points to 1855.16 points on this day.

The market reopened on Sunday, following the Dashain holiday.

On the first day of trading, the market gained 44 points.

However, NEPSE dropped by 27 points on Monday.

The sensitive index, which measures the turnover of NEPSE-listed ‘A’-class companies, fell 3.21 points to 363.63 points.

A total of 17 lakh 68 thousand 692 shares were bought and sold on this day for a total of 55 crore 28 lakh 10 thousand rupees.
