108 candidates registered in Morang’s six constituencies; these are competitors

BIRATNAGAR: Morang has 108 candidates running for 6 representative assembly seats.

The highest number of candidates, 31 people, have filed their candidacy in Constituency No 3, while the lowest number of candidates, 13 people, have registered in Constituency No 2. While 15 nominations have been filed in Constituency No 1, 16 nominations have been filed in Constituencies Nos 5 and 6. In Constituency No 4, there are 17 candidates.

According to the offices of the Election Commission, the details of nomination registration are as follows:-

(1) Limbu and Khatiwada

From Morang 1, 15 people have registered to run for the federal seat. Dig Bahadur Limbu of Nepali Congress, Ghanshyam Khatiwada of CPN UML, Kamal Bahadur Shrestha of Rastiya Swatantra Party (National Independent Party), Buddha Maya Limbu of Rastiya Janamukti Party, Rajendra Prasad Paudel of Our Nepali Party, Laxmi Prasad Kawan of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party, Suraj Limbu of Mongolian National Organization, Harkaman Sambahamphe of Federal Democratic National Forum and Homanath Gautam of Rastiya Prajatantra Party has registered their nomination.

Six independent candidates have been nominated for the House of Representatives from this constituency, according to the Election Commission.

(2) Pokharel and Koirala

Rishikesh Pokharel of the CPN-UML has filed his nomination in House of Representatives constituency number 2, while Sujata Koirala of the Nepali Congress has filed her nomination on behalf of the alliance.

In this constituency, 13 people, including independents, have filed nominations. Gopal Dahal of the RPP, Thugendra Prasad Neupane of the National Independent Party, Narayan Prasad Gangai of the Democratic Socialist Party of Nepal, Narayan Bisankhe of the Mongolian National Organization, and Mina Katuwal Budhathoki of the Nepalish People’s Party. Binodmani Bhattarai of the Our Nepali Party and Suresh Kawan of the Nepal Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party have declared their candidacy.

Three independent candidates have been nominated for the House of Representatives from Constituency No 2, according to the election officer’s office.

(3) Sharma and Dhakal

Morang Constituency No 3 has 31 registered candidates for the House of Representatives. Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal of the CPN-UML, Sunil Sharma of the Nepali Congress, and Rekha Thapa, leader of the RPP, have all filed nomination papers in this constituency.

CPN-UML has nominated Uddhim Bahadur Khadka as its candidate in this constituency, while Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party has nominated Om Narayan Rajwatar Dhami.

According to the election officer’s office, Kamal Limbu of the Janata Samajwadi Party, Khagendra Prasad Neupane of Our Nepali Party, Chandrika Devi Limbu of the Federal Democratic National Forum, Narayan Sharma of the National People’s Party, Bikendra Rai of the Mongolian National Organization, Bhuwan Rai of the Democratic Samajwadi Party, and Bikash Upreti of the National Independent Party have registered their nominations.

In this constituency, 19 independent candidates have been registered.

(4) Dhakal and Modi

Binod Dhakal of the CPN-UML filed his nomination in constituency No. 4, while Amanlal Modi of the CPN-Maoist Center filed his candidacy on the alliance’s side. Similarly, the Nepali Congress (BP) has declared its candidacy in this constituency. They are said to be assisting Congress candidate CPN Maoists in this constituency.

It is said that they will help the Congress candidate CPN Maoists in this constituency. Ashok Paudel from Nepali Congress (BP), Gulten Rishidev of Federal Democratic National Forum, Dhan Bahadur Limbu of Mongol National Organization, Navin Kumar Biswas Khawas of Our Nepali Party, Netra Prasad Siwakoti of National Independent Party, Rabi Rijal of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Laxman Sahu of Democratic Samajwadi Party. , the party candidacy of Shyam Bahadur Darji of the Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party has been registered.

According to Electoral Officer Maniram Pokharel, 7 independent candidates were registered in the House of Representatives out of 17 registered candidates.

(5) Mandal and Yadav

The alliance has nominated Shiv Kumar Mandal, the leader of the CPN-Maoist Center in Constituency No 5.

In this Constituency, there has been an electoral synergy between CPN-UML and Janata Samajwadi Party. In this Constituency where CPN-UML has not nominated its candidate, JSP has nominated Rajkumar Yadav as a candidate for the House of Representatives. He reached the election officer’s office on Sunday afternoon and registered his nomination. Similarly, Marmeshwar Murmu of Janmat Party, Pramod Kumar Mandal of the National Independent Party, Firoz Kumar Sah of Our Nepali Party, Mangal Rishidev of Federal Democratic National Forum, Majbul Rahman Mia Muslim of Nepal Lokanthrik Party, Rewat Bahadur Thapa of Rastiya Prajatantra Party have given candidature.

According to the election officer’s office, eight people from this region filed for independent candidacy out of the 16 who registered their nominations in the House of Representatives.

(6) Pandit and Koirala

Dr. Shekhar Koirala of the Nepali Congress and Lalbabu Pandit of the CPN-UML will face stiff competition in Constituency No. 6 in the year 2074. Pandit of the CPN-UML and Koirala of the Nepali Congress both submitted nominations.

Similarly, Gopal Katuwal Kshetri of the RPP, Chinjeevi Khatiwada of the Nepal Labor Kisan Party, Tek Bahadur Adhikari Kshetri of the Our Nepali Party, Dukharam Majhi of the Federal Democratic National Forum, Narayan Paswan of the Bahujan Shakti Party, Prashant Thakur of the Janata Pragatishil Party, Balram Khawas of the Civil Liberation Party,

Mohan Bahadur Rai of Mongol National Organization, Yadav Kumar Pradhan of the National Independent Party, and Raju Mandal Rajbanshi of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party have registered their nominations from House of Representatives constituency number 6.

Budhathoki informed that while 16 people have registered to run for House of Representatives, three people have been nominated as independent candidates.
