Nomination of two Chief Ministers in Bhojpur

BIRATNAGAR: Today, Rajendra Kumar Rai, the Chief Minister of State No. 1, registered his candidacy for the State Assembly member seat from his home district, Bhojpur District, State Constituency No. ‘A.’
He ran for office on behalf of the ruling coalition party.
Chief Minister Rai went to register the nomination papers at 4 p.m., as per the election officer’s office’s schedule, to register the nomination of the parties. He filed the nomination form on behalf of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist).
Sudan Kiranti of the CPN-Maoist Center has registered to run for a seat in the House of Representatives on behalf of the alliance party, while Binod Bantawa Rai of the Nepali Congress has registered to run for a seat in the State Assembly.
Sherdhan Rai, the first Chief Minister of State 1, has declared his candidacy for the federal seat of Bhojpur.
Rai was previously elected from this constituency as the Minister of Communications and served as the federal government’s spokesperson. According to the election officer’s office, Hari Bahadur Rai of Bhojpur (1) and Khadga Bahadur Karki of (2) both filed nominations for state assembly members.
