Forest Minister Yadav returned home

KATHMANDU: Forest and Environment Minister Pradeep Yadav has returned home after attending the four-day Global Methane Climate Clean Air Forum 2022 in America.

Minister Yadav left for the United States on behalf of the Government of Nepal to participate in the Global Methane Climate Clean Air Forum 2022, which was held from Sept 27 to 30.

According to his secretariat, Minister Yadav represented Nepal and discussed what kind of technical policy countries should implement to reduce methane gas emissions and how to use it while minimizing the effects of methane.

Similarly, he discussed high-level global efforts to reduce methane and other short-term climate pollutants, as well as steps taken by developed countries to reduce them.
