KATHMANDU: The Rabindra Mishra group and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, which left the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, are holding a party unity declaration meeting today.

Mishra and other leaders close to him who defected from the Bibeksheel Sajha Party will join the RPP today.

A unity declaration meeting will be held today at one o’clock in the afternoon at Kathmandu’s City Hall. According to reports, Mishra has agreed to become RPP’s senior vice chairperson.

According to RPP spokesperson Mehan Shrestha, in addition to Mishra, a large group is joining the RPP, including the leader of the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Sharadraj Pathak.

Mishra resigned from the Bibeksheel Sajha Party as an ordinary member only on Tuesday. He submitted his resignation, stating that he needed to join a new political party. Mishra is preparing to run for office from Kathmandu-1 this time.
