Chance to win a house by sending money digitally

KATHMANDU: ESewa Money Transfer, a remittance company that has brought in remittances from over 200 countries in Nepal, has launched a ‘Mero Digital Desh’ campaign to improve the country by bringing in more remittances while lowering remittance fees.
ESewa Money Transfer announced the campaign at a press conference held at its headquarters in Pulchowk, F1Soft Tower. This campaign will run from Sept 23 to Feb 18, according to the company. This campaign was launched with the goal of digitizing traditional remittance transactions.
Furthermore, the company stated that this scheme has been announced for 6 months in order to further promote digital remittances through this scheme, strengthen the country’s economic status, and strengthen the country’s foreign currency reserves.
Nepalis in any country can participate in the ‘Mero Digital Desh’ campaign by sending money to any person’s bank account in Nepal or to the eSewa wallet, which has over 6 million users. Anyone can also participate in this scheme by receiving cash remittances from abroad in their eSewa wallet via e-service money transfer.
In this campaign, one person will receive a package of attractive prizes for six months, and another will receive a house with facilities in Kathmandu.
Sagar Khanal, General Manager of eSewa Money Transfer, urged people to contribute to the country’s economic development by sending remittances via digital and legal channels. Rajesh Hamal, an actor, has also joined the campaign.
According to the company, he will participate in the digital remittance awareness program in the country and abroad, as well as e-service money transfer, as part of this campaign.
According to the company, actress Swastima Khadka will also be involved in various promotional programs. The company’s CEO, Ajesh Koirala, stated that Nepalis from anywhere in the world can participate in this campaign.
