Violation of Constitution by President: Upendra Yadav

KATHMANDU: Upendra Yadav, Chairperson of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, has stated that President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s failure to certify the Citizenship Bill is a violation of the Constitution.

He claimed that the lack of verification, despite having been passed twice by the House of Representatives and the National Assembly and presented to President Bhandari, is a violation of the constitution and an attack on the essence of the parliamentary democratic system.
