Similarly, keeping the remittance amount in the Prabhu Unnati savings account will earn you 10.13 percent interest per year.

KATHMANDU: Prabhu Bank is going to give 15.13 percent annual interest on the remittance term account.
The bank has launched a new scheme to coincide with the upcoming Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath festivals, which will pay interest on money earned abroad that is sent back to the country and deposited in the Prabhu Unnati Muddati account.
Similarly, keeping the remittance amount in the Prabhu Unnati savings account will earn you 10.13 percent interest per year.
The bank believes that the stated interest rate will provide a reasonable return on money earned abroad and will aid in the country’s economic development by providing an incentive to formally enter Nepal via remittances.
The company said that this scheme will be implemented from the next 1 year.
