KATHMANDU: The Tukucha river was discovered during the excavation based on the mapping done by Kathmandu Metropolitan City, and it has been praised. Political party leaders and ordinary citizens have been praised as part of Mayor Balen Shah’s campaign.

The Tukucha River, which flows from the Narayanhiti Durbar area, vanished in this region. Locals have long demanded excavations, claiming that the structures were built by encroaching on the river. The metropolis used dozers to dig in various locations to find the Tukucha river.
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City issued a public notice on July 28 to remove the structures built by crossing the Tukucha River. No one had removed it after a long time had passed since the metropolitan’s notification, so the metropolitan began its own search for the Tukucha River. The Jai Nepal Cinema Hall in Kathmandu’s Jamal was destroyed after they collected the map of the Tukucha River and began marking it, and they arrived with a bulldozer on Thursday.
His efforts were lauded on social media after the Tukucha River was discovered on Thursday. Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, Chairperson of the Nepal Samajwadi Party, has openly praised Mayor Shah’s initiative to revitalize the mostly dormant river. ‘Mayor Balen Shah’s initiatives to organize the Kathmandu municipality, to revive the mostly dead rivers, etc. are commendable!’ he said on social media. The path should also be planned. However, self-employed workers are forced to conduct business on the sidewalk or in public places all over the world! As a result, they must be managed by establishing a specific time and location!
