KATHMANDU: Health Bhawani Prasad Khapung said that the government is working to control dengue.
Minister Khapung stated on Thursday that while discussing the CPN Unified Socialists and ANNFSU memorandum in the ministry, there are ongoing discussions on dengue control and action is being taken.
He also stated that the work of destroying mosquito larvae has been stepped up, as has public awareness. He stated that a nationwide campaign to find and destroy mosquito larvae is underway.
Minister Khapung stated that this work has not yet been completed due to a lack of expert suggestions for spraying and spraying pesticides to destroy mosquitoes. He stated that dengue patients are being treated and that other hospitals are on standby.
ANNFSU has submitted a memorandum to Minister Khapung saying that they should play an effective role in dengue control and arrange free health treatment for students.
