KATHMANDU: The missing Tukucha River has been discovered in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Tukucha River was discovered inside the compound of Jai Nepal Hall when the metropolitan dug to find it.
According to the metropolitan’s marking on the map, the Tukucha River was discovered after digging 15 feet in the hall premises with a dozer, metropolitan said.
The Tukucha River, which flows from the Narayanhiti Durbar area, had long vanished from this area.
Previously, the metropolitan issued a 35-day notice and directed the removal of the illegal encroachment in this area.
