KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated unequivocally that Nepal will not make an immediate decision regarding India’s military recruitment plan Agneepath.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sewa Lamsal told a regular press conference at Singha Durbar on Thursday that there is no immediate decision on the Agneepath plan.

He stated that no decision will be made at this time because the government is fully preparing for the elections and the national consensus is also required on this issue.

According to Lamsal, Nepal has provided humanitarian aid to Pakistan, which has been hit by natural disasters, and that assistance will be exchanged in the coming days.
