Ved Bahadur elected as chair of Tamu association close to CPN-UML

POKHARA: Ved Bahadur Gurung (Shyam) has been elected chairperson of the Tamu Association, which is affiliated with the CPN-UML.
Under his chairmanship, the Nepal Democratic Tamu Association’s second national conference formed a 111-member central committee.
The committee has seven vice chairs and six secretaries. Om Kumar Gurung was elected as Bagmati Vice Chairperson, Chakra Bahadur Gurung as State 1 and Madhesh State Vice Chairperson, Hum Bahadur Gurung as Gandaki Vice Chairperson, Prem Bahadur Gurung as Lumbini-Karnali-Sudurpaschim Vice Chairperson, and Gum Bahadur Gurung as Prabasi Vice Chairperson. Women vice chairpersons Mina Gurung and Sharmila Gurung have been elected.
Surendra Gurung, Om Bahadur Gurung, Suryaprasad Gurung, Surya Bahadur Gurung, Khagendra Meghi Gurung, and Sitaram Gurung were elected as secretaries by the election committee.
Shambhu Gurung has been selected joint secretary, Bain Bahadur Gurung treasurer, and Devkumari Gurung joint treasurer.
Bishnu Kumar Gurung was elected Chairperson of the Union Accounts Commission, and Bharat Bahadur Ghale Gurung was elected Chairman of the Disciplinary Commission.
