67 dengue patients found in Karnali State Hospital

SURKHET: In a test of 765 people at Karnali State Hospital, 67 dengue patients were discovered. From July 17 to Sept 12, 765 people were tested.

The majority of them are from the Surkhet district, according to Bharat Devkota, the lab in-charge at Karnali State Hospital.

Dengue fever was found in 52 people in the Surkhet district alone, he said.

Similarly, dengue has been diagnosed in 5 people from Dailekh, 6 from Kalikot, 1 from Mugu, 1 from Jajarkot, 1 from Salyan, and 1 from Bajura.

More dengue patients were found in Birendranagar Municipality Wards No. 6, 4, 2, and 12.

Dengue was found in 6 people aged 1 to 15 years, 50 people aged 16 to 50 years, and 11 people aged over 50, according to Devkota.
