EC summons representatives of 12 parties

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has convened a meeting with representatives from 12 parties representing the federation and the state.

The Commission summoned representatives from 12 parties today at 12 p.m. to discuss current issues, including the implementation of the general election code of conduct.

According to Shaligram Sharma Paudel, the commission’s spokesperson, the code of conduct will be implemented on Sept 17.

For that, the Election Commission called for the commitment of the parties.
