After Oli, Li met Prachanda
He had a courtesy meeting at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor this morning.
KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” of the CPN Maoist Center and Li Zhanshu of China’s National People’s Congress Standing Committee, who is on an official visit to Nepal, met. He had a courtesy meeting at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor this morning.
The meeting is said to have covered a wide range of bilateral issues of mutual interest. Along with Chairperson Prachanda, leaders Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Dev Gurung, Pampha Bhusal, and others attended the meeting.
He had a meeting with National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli before that.
Speaker Zhanshu arrived in Kathmandu on Monday at Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota’s invitation. This afternoon, Li will meet with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba as a courtesy.
Chairperson Li will also meet with Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka today.
