KATHMANDU: Harka Sampang, mayor of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, has kept his election promise to the people.
During the local elections, he promised to solve Dharan’s water problem. He kept his promise by bringing drinking water from Dharan Bazar.
He brought drinking water, which had been in short supply for long time. He expressed his joy after bringing drinking water to Dharan on Monday, and the locals were overjoyed as well. After Sardu, Khardu and Nishane water arrived in the city, everyone celebrated in Dharan.
He expressed his joy by sharing a video of the water fountain brought to Dharan on social media. “We have only connected Khardu and Nishane; Sardu has yet to be added,” he wrote alongside the video, “and the fountain will be larger with Sardu.”
