LALITPUR: Inside the small street of Kupandol Gusingal in Lalitpur, there is a small house made of tin.

There is currently God’s idol inside the house. You notice a difference as soon as you arrive.

The idols of Lord Vishwakarma and Navadurga are being prepared there for the upcoming Vishwakarma Puja and Dashain.

Some are busy painting a God’s idol.

Every year on Ashwin Sankranti, Vishwakarma Puja is performed. Along with Vishwakarma, one also worships one’s vehicles, metal tools, and other tools used in call centers.

According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Vishwakarma, who is said to have emerged from the sea, created the arms and weapons for Krishna’s Dwarka, Pandava’s Mayasabha, and the Gods. On the day of Vishwakarma Puja, the idols made here are used for worship.
