KATHMANDU: The flood in the Bangabagad area of Darchula headquarters Khalanga has caused extensive damage as a result of the incessant rains.

Acting Chief and Police Inspector Jagat Gaha Magar of the District Police Office Darchula stated that the flood had washed away more than a dozen houses. He claims that the rescue operation will continue even after the rain has stopped.

Rescue teams from the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police have been deployed to the scene of the incident. All residents have been asked to remain vigilant.

According to Prabesh Pratap Aitwal, a local teacher, the constant rain has washed away all of the houses along the road leading to Dashrath Nagar School in Bangabagad. He stated that the Bangabagad area is tense.

Darchula Tinker Road’s suspension and the motor bridge above Laskukhola has been washed away.
