15-year-old girl gang-raped in Kailali

KAILALI: A 15-year-old girl was gang-raped in Kailali.
A police complaint has been filed alleging that four youths raped a girl who went to watch the Gaura Deuda in Ghodaghodi Municipality 1 Sukhad of the district.
“There have been reports that a young man took her somewhere, called his friends, and gang-raped her,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxman Shahi of the area police office, Sukhad to Makalu Khabar.
They were all drunk, according to Shahi. “The incident occurred on the night of Sept 6,” he explained, “everyone was drunk,” and the girl was unable to tell her parents about it, which the locals discovered after witnessing it.
The girl has also filed an official complaint. According to the complaint, three of the four people have been arrested.
The girl was seen semi-conscious in the Sukhad Bazar by locals.
