Rain since morning in Kathmandu, water accumulated in various locations

KATHMANDU: According to the Weather Forecast Division, there has been light rain in the capital Kathmandu since morning.
Meteorologist Manju Basi of the division reported that it has been raining in the surrounding areas, including Kathmandu Valley, since the morning. In the last three hours, Kathmandu has received 46 mm of rain, according to her.
“Currently it is raining lightly in and around the Kathmandu valley, it is also raining in most areas of Bagmati State, and it appears that the rain will continue for a few more days,” meteorologist Basi said.
Heavy rain has fallen in some areas of the valley. More rain has been reported in Singha Durbar, Maitighar, Putlisadak, Ratna Park, Tripureshwor, and other areas. Water has accumulated in various locations throughout the valley as a result of the continuous rain.
The details of rainfall and temperature across the country are published by the division every day in the morning and evening. At present, the low-pressure line of monsoon is located a little south of Sardar place, so it is raining with change, the department said.
According to the division, there is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in some parts of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini States, as well as a few parts of the rest of the state, and a chance of heavy rain with thunder/lightning in one or two parts of Lumbini State.
