Imminent Elections: UML-LSP coming into alliance, seat allotment task force to be formed

KATHMANDU: For the upcoming elections, there will be coordination between the main opposition party CPN (UML) and the Democratic Socialist Party (LSP).

KP Sharma Oli, the alliance’s chairperson, and Mahanth Thakur have also held preliminary talks.

According to LSP leader Ekwal Mian, the talks are going well. Our party is never opposed to cooperation and unity. It is beneficial to form an alliance with the UML in order to work together for democracy, the country, and the people.

The leaders are discussing it. Perhaps there will be an alliance.
