My victory is assured from Chitwan: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Chairperson of the CPN Maoist Center, has stated that he will run for office from Chitwan. He said this while speaking to the media in Pokhara on Friday morning.

He predicted that the message would not be received well outside of Chitwan. “I have been asked to visit by friends of other parties from different districts,” he said in response to a journalist’s question. “Congress leaders said that I should visit Gorkha,” he added, “but now I fight from Chitwan.”

The people of Chitwan believe in their intuition and feelings. There is also an alliance. Victory is certain.
