Nabil bank & Unilever Nepal come together for MSME funding
The main benefit of this facility is that it allows distributors to receive the full value of bills issued to Channel Partners via bank financing.
KATHMANDU: We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Nabil Bank Limited to further spread our Financing Solution model among Unilever Nepal Limited dealers.
On Sept 5, 2022, Our MD & CEO, Mr. Amlan Mukherjee, signed the agreement with Nabil Bank Limited in the presence of Mr. Sujit Kumar Shakya, Sr. DCEO of Nabil Bank, and Mr. Niraj Basnet (Danil), Head – SME & MF.
In addition to the MoU, we have provided a ‘Reference Letter’ to three of our key distributors for the bank’s further processing of Channel Financing.
With this strategic alliance, our Channel Partners will be able to access a Channel Financing Facility with attractive pricing and collateral support.
The main benefit of this facility is that it allows distributors to receive the full value of bills issued to Channel Partners via bank financing. Furthermore, registered partners can access a variety of other SME loan options to meet their financing needs.
As Nabil Bank Limited has over 200 branches throughout Nepal, most of our distributors can easily access this service, allowing us to consistently provide our consumers with brands that add vitality to life. We are excited about this collaboration between Unilever Nepal Limited and Nabil Bank Limited.
