KATHMANDU: Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande, who is on a visit to Nepal, has paid Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba a courtesy call.

Nepal-India military relations were discussed at a meeting held Tuesday at the Prime Minister’s office.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his hope that the two countries’ cooperation will continue in the future, while also thanking the Indian Army for its assistance to the Nepali Army.

Similarly, India’s army chief Pande expressed his delight, stating that the country has had a long history of cooperation with Nepal.

Previously, Chief of Army Staff Pande was appointed Honorary Maharathi of the Nepalese Army.

He provided various materials to the Nepali Army as support.
