Gandaki CM Pokharel recommended proportionally
His name has been recommended in the proportional list from Nawalpur 1.
POKHARA: The Chief Minister of Gandaki State, Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel, has nominated his name to become a proportional member of the House of Representatives.
After winning the election from Nawalpur Constituency No. 1 (A) and becoming a state MP, he is not interested in the state. Pokharel did not even want to contest direct elections.
His name has been recommended in the proportional list from Nawalpur 1. The District Working Committee has sent the names of aspirants from all regions to the state.
The names of billionaire Vinod Choudhary along with Congress central member Dr. Sashank Koirala have also gone in Nawalpur’s constituency number 1. Chaudhary has applied to contest direct elections in both areas of Nawalpur.
Pokharel has been considering Koirala as the leader. After Koirala did not leave, Pokhrel backed.
