KATHMANDU: The working group formed to distribute seats in the ruling coalition claims to have reached an agreement today.

After the meeting on Tuesday ended without a resolution, it is rescheduled for today.

The working group stated that the seat distribution will be finalized at today’s meeting. The situation of parties in all 165 constituencies was discussed in the meeting on Tuesday, according to Communications Minister and Government Spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.

“We discussed who has what position in quickly 165 constituencies in accordance with the responsibility assigned to the task force from the top level.” ‘We have a responsibility given to us, and we have risen today with the agreement to fully shoulder that responsibility and submit a report to the leadership,’ Karki said after the meeting on Monday. Today’s homework was completed in 165 seats.

According to Karki, a report will be prepared today after the union and the state have agreed on the number of seats.
