Rajendra Lingden resigned from the post of MP

KATHMANDU: RPP Chairperson Rajendra Lingden has announced his resignation as a Member of Parliament.

Speaking in Parliament on Sunday, Lingden stated that he resigned as it would be inappropriate to continue running the Parliament after the announcement of the election.

He stated that he will no longer attend Parliament as he was embarrassed when the government recently introduced a proposal to extend the term of the House of Representatives.

“He will not be present from now on,” he stated. The salary allowance facility that was sent to my name should be terminated. If I have to write it somewhere, I am prepared to do so.
