PM’s request to employees to postpone the protest & start preparing for election

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has requested that all movement programs be halted and that employees assist the government in preparing for the elections.

Prime Minister Deuba addressed a program organized by the Nepal Civil Servants Union in Kathmandu on Sunday, asking employees to assist the government in preparing for federal and state elections.

He promised to bring the Federal Civil Code soon by addressing legitimate employee demands. He stated that he is aware of the suggestions made regarding the Act and stated that the path of timely reforms will be adopted while advancing the Act and the demands of the employees.

According to him, the civil service in the form of a permanent government is a mechanism similar to state management of the government.

Similarly, senior Congress leader Ramchandra Paudel stated that the constitution is a living document that should be finalized in order to address the legitimate demands of employees.

Employees in the program were of the opinion that the government should pay special attention to other matters for their professional development. Some people were also honored.
