I am ready to endure abuse and criticism for some more time: Mayor Shah

KATHMANDU: Balendra (Balen) Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, recalled that it has been 100 days since he assumed leadership of the metropolitian.

Mayor Balen stated that seeing how the general public viewed the 100-day term on social media would be more meaningful than evaluating it himself.

Balen presented six things that touched his heart in his work during his 100 days.

He prioritized the removal of the corn stacks and presented the decision to remove unauthorized structures such as the Yama Buddha statue, the drinking and crown change in the program, waste management, and Norvic.

He also reminded himself that he has 5 years left, saying that there is not only 100 days left.
