Gagan Thapa unanimously recommendation from Kathmandu-4

KATHMANDU: General Minister Gagan Thapa of the Nepali Congress has been unanimously recommended as the candidate from Kathmandu Region No. 4 for the Nov. 20 election.

The regional committee meeting on Friday evening recommended Gagan Thapa as the sole candidate for the House of Representatives seat.

Previously, Chief Minister Thapa filed an application to run for office in Kaski’s constituency number one. Thapa, on the other hand, stated that he was planning to run from Kathmandu-4.

Thapa was elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-4 after defeating the Left Alliance candidate, Dr. Rajan Bhattarai of the UML.
