Lawmakers draw govt’s attention towards urgency to prevent dengue from spreading
Airing their views in the 'zero hour' of the meeting of the National Assembly, the upper house of the Federal Parliament, today, they said that dengue is spreading in many districts including in the Kathmandu Valley and the government should take prompt steps to control it.
KATHMANDU: Lawmakers have demanded that the government take urgent steps towards controlling the spread of dengue in various parts of the country.
Airing their views in the ‘zero hour’ of the meeting of the National Assembly, the upper house of the Federal Parliament, today, they said that dengue is spreading in many districts including in the Kathmandu Valley and the government should take prompt steps to control it.
Suresh Ale Magar called on the Ministry of Health and Population to swing into action without any delay in containing this deadly disease.
Udaya Bahadur Bohara drew the attention of the authorities concerned towards the sorry state of the Tulasipur-Kapurkot section of the Rapti highway.
Urmila Aryal said that the farmers in the Madhes region are suffering due to the poor supply system of fertilizers and lack of irrigation.
