Impeachment Recommendation Committee taking statements from JB Rana

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives General Impeachment Recommendation Committee is hearing a statement from suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shameshar JB Rana today.

The committee decided on August 23 to summon JB Rana for a statement today. The meeting will start at 11 a.m.

According to committee member Lal Babu Pandit, the internal procedure has been approved. The agenda was also amended and approved.

His position has been suspended following the filing of an impeachment motion against JB Rana with the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
