Sampang, an independent mayor, defined politics

KATHMANDU: Harka Sampang, the mayor of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City and a social media user, has defined politics. He gave his political opinion on Facebook Live in the morning.
He stated that politics is not a field in which everyone believes. “There are opponents in politics; fighting with those opponents and moving forward is called politics,” he continued, “which is why I ask you to understand this truth.” As it is a field that breaks down barriers and moves forward, opponents are required, and they do exist. This is not to say that everyone should applaud.

According to Mayor Sampang, two-fourths of them are thieves or have a proclivity to rob and eat. “Let’s all work together; there’s nothing that can’t be done if we all work together,” he said.
