Call for impeachment recommendation committee to complain against JB Rana

KATHMANDU: A public notice has been issued by the impeachment recommendation committee against suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana.

Today, the committee issued a notice requesting that any evidence related to the impeachment be submitted to the committee within three days.

The committee meeting on Wednesday decided to request a statement from JB Rana on August 31. During the same meeting, it was decided to demand any evidence related to the impeachment.

The committee plans to complete its investigation into JB Rana’s indictment by September 14.

The committee has set a date for the impeachment committee’s report to be submitted to the House of Representatives on September 3 or 4.
