Balen made a comment on Mahesh Basnet’s post – ‘Is the map of your house passed or not?’

KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has launched a campaign to demolish illegal structures by monitoring whether buildings built within the valley are in accordance with the map pass.
The illegal structure built by Alfa Beta Complex in the Naya Baneshwor area was demolished on Thursday.
Mahesh Basnet, a central member of CPN-UML, reacted strongly after the demolition of the illegal structure of the complex.
Mayor Balen Shah immediately commented on his response.
Basnet asked, “Why did Balen Shah run a dozer in Alfa Beta complex?”

Mayor Shah immediately responded with a counter-question. He stated that Siwakoti also took a photo with him and that everyone should abide by the rules and regulations. After commenting on the image, he went to ask Basnet if the map had passed or not. “You also had taken photos with me, that’s the first reason,” he wrote. Everyone must abide by the rules, comrade! Rather, do you have a map of your house?’
Previously, despite commenting on Harka Sampang’s post as mayor of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, Sampang made a dig at Balen. All of the supporters are debating the advantages and disadvantages.
