In Pics: Demolishing illegal structures in Kirtipur

KATHMANDU: Kirtipur Municipality in Kathmandu has also begun demolishing illegally constructed structures.

On Thursday, Mayor Rajkumar Nakarmi informed that the illegal structure built in the compound of a house near the municipality’s new office building in Ward No. 10 of the municipality had been demolished.

The municipality demolished the structure built on Jai Bahadur Maharjan’s house on the first day.

The municipality used a bulldozer to demolish a structure in an area where the map was not passed, then constructed a high wall and a tower there.
