Decision of SC Impeachment recommendation committee to be taken on Aug 31 of suspended CJ’s statement

KATHMANDU: The Impeachment Recommendation Committee has summoned the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumser JB Rana for a statement.

The committee has decided to summon JB Rana for a statement on August 31 at 11 a.m. The committee meeting on Wednesday also approved the agenda item of submitting the report to the House of Representatives by September 3 or 4.

Similarly, the committee has decided to gather and analyze evidence from August 25 to August 28.

Senior member Ram Bahadur Bista, who presided over the meeting, announced that the committee’s internal procedure had been approved with changes.
