Such is the weather forecast for next three days

KATHMANDU: Meteorologists says that rain and weather changes will occur in various parts of the country today.

Light rain is expected across the country this morning. Partial to moderate showers nationwide this morning. Karnali, Sudurpathim and Gandaki States will experience light rain.

Partial to moderate showers nationwide this afternoon, according to the Hydrometeorological Service. Light to moderate rainfall is possible in some areas of State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpathim States. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible in other parts of the state, the department said.

Meteorologist Ganga Nagarkotti says that there will be light to moderate rain in the Kathmandu Valley today. She said there would be less rain in some parts of Kathmandu in the morning, but light to moderate rain in the afternoon. The weather in the valley varies throughout the day.

Heavy rain is not expected for the next 3 days. Meteorologist Nagarkoti said, “There may not be heavy rains across the country until today, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.”
