Upendra Yadav demanded resignation of CM Raut

KATHMANDU: JSP chairperson Upendra Yadav called on Madhesh Prime Minister Lal Babu Raut to resign.

Yadav called for Raut’s resignation, citing growing criticism of Laut within the party.

In the recent meeting of the JSP executive committee, some state MPs demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Raut.

Yadav, who had remained silent about his request to resign at the time, is now said to be asking Laut to step down.

Prime Minister Yadav has been criticized for corruption in the purchase of bicycles distributed as part of the ‘Beti Bachau Beti Padhau’ (save the daughter, literate daughter) campaign.
