KATHMANDU: The main opposition party, the CPN (UML), submitted 37 UML proposals to amend the Code of Conduct.

UML on Tuesday presented 37 amendments to the code of conduct proposed by the Election Commission.

Amendment highlights include proposals to extend the period of application of the Election Code from the announcement of the election to the close of the polls and to shorten the electoral silence period from 48 hours to 24 hours.
