Discussion on party unity between Prachanda & Madhav!

KATHMANDU: A meeting was held between CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal.

They discussed issues ranging from the latest political situation of the country to the upcoming election preparations.

A leader of the Maoist center said that in the discussion held in Lalitpur Hattivan, they also discussed party unity.

According to him, there was a discussion between the two leaders about moving forward through the same party as much as possible. They also discussed about fighting the upcoming elections through a single manifesto. “The conclusion has not been reached,” said the leader.

Similarly, a meeting of the ruling coalition is also scheduled to be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar.

The meeting will focus on the preparation and distribution of the upcoming provincial and federal elections.
