President saddened by Giri’s death: She said – ‘We have lost a principled intellectual personality’

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has stated that the death of socialist thinker and Nepali Congress leader Pradeep Giri has cost her a principled intellectual personality.
She expressed her sorrow over Giri’s death in a tweet this morning.

Giri, who had cancer, died last night while receiving treatment at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur. His funeral service is scheduled for today.
